The Ann Terry Society helps women living in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality enter the paid workforce by providing free career development services that are women centered and community based. The Ann Terry Society is unique in that it provides specialized, women centered career development services for women who face barriers to employment when they try to gain equal access to full time work with equal pay. Being women centered allows the service to focus specifically on women's needs and develop programs and services that will increase women's self esteem and support them to be independent and have control over their lives and their learning activities.
The hours of operation for the Ann Terry Project and other great services for women are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 500 George Street in Sydney on the main bus route. We are also wheelchair accessible. Don't forget to check out our active facebook page!
